This week is FA Cup week, but rather than take a break, we’ve gone and done a short podcast on our take on Team of the Year…because FIFA’s selections were, shall we say, hopeless. Enjoy!

This week, the Wenger bus finally arrives and gets everyone jumping with a solid 2-0 win away to Man City (who knew they had it in them). Chelsea demolish Swansea, Van Gaal gets the points despite being…well, rubbish really, and Liverpool continue their form building as Aston Villa sink to new lows. All this plus loads of segments and nonsense. Nothing out of the ordinary right? Enjoy
Our pick for ‘Yesterday’s Hero’ this week, he was both a prolific goal scorer in Serie A and the biggest drug lord in Miami during the 80’s (probably, we don’t know for sure). Don’t know what we’re talking about? Check out the latest episode of our podcast.

This week, Manchester United fail to register a single shot on target at Old Trafford for the first time in 10 years as they go down to Champions League hopefuls Southampton. Chelsea win, Lazar-guided Liverpool win, Pardew and Pulis start their tenures off with wins, and Sanchez continues to carry Arsenal in the same way Dave carries this podcast. “Raysian Cup” makes a debut and old favourites return. Enjoy

In this weeks episode “Coming Home” our end of year review takes us to a new low, or should we say high as Dave gets sacked as the lead of the podcast (that’s the way we see it anyway). We review each team’s mid year performance, and add some useless facts. Ralph takes aim at the Wanderers, as Paul and Ray take aim at Liverpool in Dave’s absence. New approach, same old drivel. Welcome to 2015, the year of the STUDS!

In this week’s Christmas episode ‘Rodger That’, Liverpool and Arsenal demonstrate how not to defend in a 2-2 draw at Anfield, Chelsea keep the gap open at the top after doing what Barcelona are theoretically unable to do – beat Stoke on a cold Monday night. Pardew loses another Tyne-Wear derby and Allardyce gets to keep his smug look for another week. All this plus all the usual banter and bullsh*t. Enjoy!

This week, Van Gaal’s Man Utd get the best of Liverpool with a bit of help from lady luck (she’s taken up residence at Carrington recently), and retain 3rd after six wins on the trot. Chelsea and City get wins, so do Arsenal (wow), Tottenham clinch a winner again and Southampton illustrate the rubbish quality at the top by retaining 5th despite looking crap lately. Enjoy!
This weeks Studs Up FC Yesterdays Hero goes to Djimi Traore. Scorer of one of the greatest own goals in the history of football (view the video below).
